RAW Pet Food Leader Adds Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager Charles Mehl To National Sales Force!

Due to the rapid growth that the industry has been seeing in the RAW pet food category, Vital Essentials has been increasing its national sales force to ensure its treats, entrées and snacks are widely available to pet parents throughout the U.S. The addition of Charles as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Manager is among a number of moves made by the company late last year to meet the demand for its frozen and freeze-dried pet food.
Charles, previously in pharmaceutical sales before joining Vital Essentials, is a graduate from Drexel University and based in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Charles’ area of responsibility includes Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and upstate New York. “The Mid-Atlantic region is among our strongest areas in terms of the number of retailers carrying our products,” said VP of Sales and Marketing Kevin Malnor. “With Charles’ background, he clearly understands the value we bring in preparing our pet foods as they are scientifically backed by solid principles of the ALPHA Prey-Model Diet.”

Not only is Charles excited about helping other pet parents in their quest to feed healthier, he started at home. He transitioned Buddy, his 6 year-old German Shepard and Golden Retriever mix, to a RAW diet immediately upon joining the company.
